Aiming for space sustainability and safety
The number of artificial satellites launched into space is rapidly increasing in the 21st century, and the time when civilians can easily enjoy space walks is just around the corner. However, artificial satellites, which are expected to continue to increase in the future, will become not only space debris when they finish their role, but also would cause a huge impact if collided with other satellites.
While I was wondering if there was a way to dispose of the ever-increasing amount of space debris, I came across an opportunity to learn about the success of Astroscale. In addition to the service for removing used satellites, Astrospace will also reportedly provide services to extend the life of satellites currently in use and to capture and remove space debris of various sizes that have become space debris. I have great expectations for Astroscale, the world's first pioneer to launch an important and grand business to keep the geospace sustainable. (AS)
