Aiming at 300-year-company with continuously innovative management methods
Looking over the company's website, where Bushu Kogyo identifies its self as a group of pipe and sheet metal processing specialists, and other information sources about the company, I have found the company to have three attractions. The first is that the management aims to start a business for 300 years, and the necessary things are continuously incorporated into the business. The second is in the managements' strong belief that not only the company but the entire industry must be healthy. Based on it, Bushu Kogyo have been practicing open innovation from an early stage. And the third point is that this company carefully nurture its employees, keep brushing up and developing its technology, and manufacture the production equipment they use in-house. This attitude is easy to say but often difficult to put into practice. However, the fact that they have won numerous awards shows that it is really being in practice. I feel that their commitment to continue refining engineering skills is also reflected in the educational toys called "PIPE GRAM" that use pipes developed and manufactured by the company. I have noticed that the serious efforts for the SDGs would be so obvious in Bushu Kogyo that no specific explanation would be required. (AS)
