Robotics Startup for Space Development The web page of the company says, "GITAI is a space robotics startup that will develop robots that can conduct tasks in all realms of space development, and cut down costs for operations by the Moon and Mars and construct space colonies." Its vision message is "Provide an inexpensive and safe means of working in space. In 2040, GITAI will be an equal partner with the world’s leading space launch companies, providing cheap and safe labor to build cities and space colonies on the moon and Mars. They provide the transportation, we provide the work. They lower the cost of transportation, we lower the cost of work." This seems to be a pretty big story, but would be promising. Eventually, at some point in time of the future, Human being may have to live outside of the earth. Till then, we wish GITAI's success becoming a leading player in the field. (AS)

(Ota-ku, Tokyo, CEO: Mr. Sho Nakanose), developing general-purpose robots for space applications, conducted a technology demonstration of a GITAI autonomous space robot executing various tasks inside the ISS (International Space Station) Nanoracks Bishop Airlock between October 13-16, CST.
