Water propulsion systems for sustainable space development
The convenience of small satellites has been attracting attention, and an increasing number of satellites are now operating in their respective roles. However, even among small satellites, satellites that use water as the fuel for propulsion in space are reportedly still under development. In the meantime, Pale Blue has been developing the world's first small satellite equipped with a water engine that generates thrust by turning water into a plasma state, and is on the verge of commercialization in 2023. The patented technology for generating ultra-low-power plasma using microwaves, which has been realized through more than 10 years of research, has enabled the miniaturization of the water engine, which can be flexibly adapted to any size, shape and weight of a satellite. The day will soon come when the world's first earth-friendly and human-friendly small satellite equipped with the water-based engine will be launched into the sky. Let's look forward to Pale Blue's continued success. (AS).
